Patrons rave about the generous portion sizes at Fry-Days, especially the large servings of chips that are ideal for sharing. The menu boasts a fantastic variety, allowing diners to indulge in both traditional British fish and chips as well as delectable Chinese dishes, catering to diverse cravings.

The staff routinely receive compliments for their friendliness, creating a welcoming environment that makes guests feel at home. Regulars comment on how the team remembers their orders, adding a personal touch to each visit. Many love that they can grab a quick bite or sit down and savor a more substantial meal without feeling rushed, making this a popular choice for all occasions.

Most Disliked

While the majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some customers mention longer wait times during busy periods, particularly during peak hours. This is something to be mindful of if you're in a hurry. However, many patrons graciously accept this, understanding that good food takes time to prepare.

A few reviews have pointed out that the cash-only payment policy can be inconvenient, especially in a world increasingly reliant on card payments. But those who know the place assure newcomers to come prepared, knowing that the food is well worth it.

Went to fry-days this evening for the first time, had traditional chippy food rather than Chinese so chips, fish cakes, etc. and it was absolutely delicious. The chip portions are huge (we got two large chips to share between 3 and ended up only needing the one portion), and the lady running the chippy was very apologetic for food taking time to cook (please don’t ever apologise for the food being cooked fresh). Lovely business and lovely food. Will definitely be back again.

First time trying Fry-Days, and we were very impressed. Chicken and Sweetcorn soup was lovely. House Special Sweet & Sour (Hong Kong style) also very good. Huge portion of chips! Fried rice and noodles were great too. Curry sauce was very nice, though quite salty! And we enjoyed the free prawn crackers. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Chorley in our experience. Can't wait to return and try more dishes. The lady serving us was so lovely and kind I wanted to kiss her. Definitely a 5 star experience all round!

We were just visiting and looking for quick dinner, I was so pleased to have found Fry-Days! Super friendly team and you know you're onto a winner when the local customers bring the shop Easter eggs! Very lovely and homely atmosphere. And the food was delicious too! When we revisit the area we will for sure come back again.
